Micro Dark Matter Mushroom Chocolate Bar

The Micro Dark Matter bar holds 1.5 grams split into 15 pieces of 100 mg. It gives you more days of small doses than the mini bar at the same 100 mg per piece. It is vegan and costs $50.

Dark Matter Mushroom Chocolate Bar

Our standard Dark Matter bar holds 3 grams of Makilla Gorilla mushroom split into 15 pieces, which is 200 mg per piece. Cut a piece in half for 100 mg or into quarters for 50 mg. It is vegan and costs $65.

6 Gram Dark Matter Mushroom Chocolate Bar

The 6 Gram Dark Matter bar is for a full experience. It holds 6 grams split into 6 pieces of 1 gram each. We suggest a half piece (500 mg) for anyone who wants to start slow. It is vegan and costs $90.

Penis Envy Dark Chocolate Bars

Why We Use Dark Chocolate

Here is why dark chocolate is the base for so many of our bars. Mushrooms have a strong, earthy taste, and many people find raw mushrooms bitter and hard to eat. Rich, bittersweet dark chocolate gives that earthiness a home, and every piece tastes like a proper chocolate rather than a supplement.

Dark chocolate also lets us make our Dark Matter and drip bars fully vegan, with no dairy at all. The ingredient list on our dark bars is short: sugar, cocoa mass, fat-reduced cocoa powder, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavour and psilocybin cubensis. In our opinion, a dark chocolate shroom bar is the cleanest way to taste the chocolate and the mushroom together. Milk and white chocolate bars are sweeter, so try both and see which you prefer.

Dark Chocolate vs Milk and White Mushroom Bars

STEM makes bars in all three chocolates, and each one changes the experience a little.

Why a Measured Dose Matters

Here is why we label every piece. Researchers at Oregon State University bought 12 "magic mushroom" edibles from shops in Portland, Oregon, and found that none of them contained psilocybin, while seven held ingredients that were not on the label (Oregon State University). Health Canada also notes that potency varies between mushrooms and batches.

That is the problem we set out to solve. Every STEM product page lists the strain where we name it, the total mushroom weight and the amount per piece. When you buy one of our dark chocolate bars, you can see exactly what each piece holds before you take a bite, and you can plan a routine around real numbers.

How to Dose a Dark Chocolate Shroom Bar

Next steps for a first try with any of these bars:

1. Start with 50 mg to 100 mg. That is a single piece of a mini or micro bar, or a half or quarter piece of a 200 mg bar.
2. Wait at least two hours before you decide how it feels. Do not take more in that window.
3. Take it on a calm day with no driving and nothing important planned.

Why wait two hours? Health Canada says the effects of magic mushrooms usually begin within 15 to 45 minutes and last about four to six hours (Health Canada). Safety and Legal Notes

The law. Psilocybin is a controlled substance in Canada. Health Canada states that selling, possessing or producing psilocybin is illegal unless Health Canada authorizes it, and that no psilocybin therapeutic product is approved. Read our Canadian legal guide and check the rules where you live.

Mixing and health. Health Canada warns that mixing psilocybin with alcohol, cannabis or other drugs raises the risk of serious side effects, and that it raises heart rate and blood pressure. If you have a heart condition, a personal or family history of psychiatric illness, or take medication, talk to a health care professional first.

Children and pets. A mushroom chocolate bar looks like a regular chocolate bar. Poison centre data from 55 US centres showed psilocybin calls among teens more than tripled between 2019 and 2022, and the lead researcher warned that young children may mistake edibles for candy (MDedge). Keep every bar sealed, labelled and out of reach.
